The final arrangements are being worked on by the staff of Rugby Alberta in anticipation of hosting this years Canadian Rugby Championships for the U19 Men. Five teams will converge on Edmonton and showcase their talents with the hope to be selected Rugby Canada U20 Men’s Program. Michael Shelley the Rugby Canada U20 Mens Academy Coach will be in attendance. 

 

The Nor’Westers Athletic Association has won the bid that was distributed throughout Edmonton facilities to host this event. Fred Fishburn and Rick Oldring were instrumental in bringing this prestigious tournament to their fields and Rugby Alberta is more than happy to be working with them. 

 

Included in this newsletter is some information you will find useful as each of the teams make their individual arrangements to travel to Edmonton July 11, 2012. We have included information on how to book your accommodations, meals, ground transportation and also some information on things to do in the area should you find yourselves with some time off. 

 

The Rugby Alberta Board of Directors and staff look forward to hosting British Columbia, the Prairies, Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic Regional Teams.
